Walter Oczlon was born in Sankt Johann, Salzburg.
He started his training as a photographer and graphic artist
at the Höhere Graphischen Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt
(Federal Training and Research Institute of Graphic Arts) and
in the master class for photography in Vienna. He has been an
independent photographer since 1979.
